Winter in Grand Bornand |
|
The
resort is fully linked, based around
a real alpine village and part of a greater
ski area with more than 200km of marked pistes
and lots of off-piste for advanced skiers. All the ski areas are easy to get to with plenty of unthreatening slopes perfect for building confidence and carefree skiing. Non skiers are well provided for with walking paths and other winter activities. |

|
Children
are well catered for with two crèches for the very
small. Slightly older children can be entertained in
organised groups depending on their skiing experience.Ski-school is available from 3 years up. Restaurants are plentiful and dotted around in some of the loveliest spots on the mountain. Most are accessible by "Blue run" skiers and many of them by both beginners and walkers. |

|
Boarders
will find a custom built Snow Park where jumps
and banks have been specially made.Expert skiers and boarders will find plenty to amuse themselves on both the marked pistes and the challenging slopes "off the back of the mountain". There are several starting points on the mountain and you should be able to park your car within 200m of a lift at any time of the season. You can also take the shuttle bus which goes regularly from the end of the road. |
